Being a new parent is a big job. You and your child are learning new things everyday. As excitements grow, a new parent should always watch out for these safety tips.

Home and body Temperature
Home temperatures for new baby should be steady. The correct way to take child's temperature and recognizing if they have a fever, this will keep child safe and comfortable. Set the temperature of your hot water heater to 120 degrees F to prevent hot burns. Make sure that baby's surrounding should be hygiene. -
Feeding baby
First and most important, breastfeeding baby should continue when first introducing foods. When feeding a baby, first test all warmed foods for a comfortable eating temperature before serving. Heating baby food in a microwave is convenient. When babies begin to eat solid foods, do not give the child small, hard foods. Remember, baby should always eat and drink in an upright position. -
Consult doctor
Taking your Baby to the doctor, you can expect your doctor to check the weight, height and head circumference of your baby and analysis his growth and development. He may have his first Hepatitis B vaccine and all the basic vaccine, which is needed. -
Infections and symptoms of illness
Until your baby is grown-up and his immune system is stronger, it is probably a good idea to keep him away from large groups of people or other sick children to reduce his contact to infections. Ask your child to check first with, before going anywhere, accepting anything, or getting into a car with anyone, not to go out alone, Say no if someone tries to touch, or treats him in a way that makes him feel scared, uncomfortable, or confused, Ask him to get out of the situation as quick as possible. -
Be firm, be specific
There are things that all parents should include in their parenting approach. These are common sense really, but sometimes common sense goes out the window when dealing with screaming munchkins children. Be Firm, Be Specific, we must be very clear at all times. Stories are a great way to explain what views you have about your child. Be Consistent, if you always punish a certain behavior in a certain way, your child will learn to give up from the activity that you don't support of him or her doing. -
Be Fair, Encouraging
Always be fair, encouraging your child no matter what's child age or accomplishment. Build your children up and never tear them down. How you talk to your child determines how they respond to you. Always try to be objective. When your son or daughter is proud of an achievement, tell them how proud that you are of their accomplishment. Look at them in the eye and congratulate them. -
First aid
Always keep first aid kit at home it may require any time and some prescribed medicines from the doctor. -
Avoid sun
Keep child reach away from sun as much as possible. When outside, protect skin with hats, light-colored clothing with long sleeves, and sunscreen -
Avoid water
avoid child unattended even for an instant in or near a pool, other water, any water surfaced area. Don't leave even little amount of water, cleaning solutions and other liquids in buckets or containers.
